CIRENCESTER Town Ladies maintained their perfect season record following a convincing 7-1 win over Tuffley Rovers.
Cirencester have now won all 12 of their matches in Division One of the Gloucestershire County Women's Football League and with just six games to go, they look set to win the title at a canter.
They are 14 points clear of second-placed Bristol & West Ladies after Sunday's big win, which could have been more had it not been for a brilliant individual performance from Tuffley's goalkeeper.
Cirencester only led 2-0 at the break but raced away in the second-half. Libberty Messenger and Amelia Duddling both scored two apiece, whilst there were also goals for Scarlet Boyce, Anna Margetts and Lucy Scrannage.
Robyn Lee did score a consolation off the bench for the visitors but it did not deter from another rampant display from Cirencester.
It takes their goal tally up to 62 for the season, whilst only conceding 10 and it means they only require three more wins to wrap up the league title.
