CIRENCESTER Town Ladies continued their perfect start to the 2023/24 season with a fifth league win in a row on Sunday.
Their 4-0 victory over AEK Boco Ladies Reserves made it five wins from five in the Gloucestershire County Women's Football League Division One.
Goals from Jodie Bailey, Anna Margetts and Eve Timbrell contributed to the victory that sees them open up a three-point lead at the top of the Division One table.
They have now scored 36 goals in five matches and have only conceded six, giving them a huge +30 goal difference at this early stage in the campaign.
Their nearest rivals Bristol & West Ladies First have 12 points but have played a game more than Cirencester. They put 10 past Longwell Green Ladies in a convincing 10-1 victory.
