AIDAN Bennett's brace guided Cirencester Town to a convincing 6-1 win over Walthamstow on Saturday in the club's penultimate game of the Southern League Division One Central season.
Levi Irving and Bennett's first put the hosts 2-0 up before a rocket from Reegan Messenger made it 3-0 after 30 minutes.
Jake Lee's penalty made it four just before the break and Joseph Shepherd added a fifth shortly after the restart.
Bennett's second of the afternoon saw The Centurions hit six before a late consolation from Damaray Anyadike pulled one back for the visitors.
Unfortunately for Cirencester, they will end the season a place outside of the play-offs in sixth, whilst their visitors have already confirmed their place in the top five.
Back-to-back defeats to start April meant The Centurions were going to fall short in their quest to play for promotion but a second win a week at least sees them ending the campaign in style.
They were 2-1 winners at relegated FC Romania on Wednesday thanks to goals from Adulai Sambu and Nicholas Hancock.
The Centurions have one final game to go before the season comes to a close and it's a trip to Kempston Rovers on Saturday for them.
