GLOUCESTER RUGBY's opening fixtures of the new season have been revealed.
The Cherry and Whites kick-off their Premiership campaign with a home tie at Kingsholm against Saracens on Saturday, September 21.
They then travel to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol Bears on Friday, September 27 before an another away tie against Sale Sharks on Friday, October 4.
Gloucester will host Bath Rugby on Saturday, October 12 before rounding off the month with an away tie against Leicester Tigers on Sunday, October 20 and a home encounter against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday, October 26.
Premiership Rugby’s chief growth officer Rob Calder said: “After the enormous success of the inaugural derby weekend last season we are thrilled to add a second derby round for supporters to see those ferocious grudge matches.
“Marquee fixtures continue to excite new and existing fans and I know our partners are excited about showcasing these, too.
“So we are excited that Bristol Bears will be adding another huge occasion to the fixture list with the Big Day Out against historic rivals Bath as Premiership Rugby crosses the Severn Bridge.”
