HARVEY JUPP (Lechlade CC) and Jonnie Gunn (Poulton CC) have been selected as part of a 15-strong U18 party representing the Gloucestershire Cricket Board on a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka.
Alice Mundy of Farford CC has been included in the Girls' U17 squad of 14 for the trip.
The two teams will leave the cold of England on February 6 on the Lions Sport Travel-organised trip to play a series of matches in unfamiliar hot and humid conditions.
Both squads will have five matches spread across Colombo, Galle and Kandy.
The boys’ squad will be led by Gloucestershire head of talent pathway Tim Hancock. The players are all aged between 16 and 18.
GCB women and girls' officer Lisa Pagett takes charge of the girls' squad that ranges in age from 14 to 17.
