2017 Düsseldorf ETU Sprint Triathlon European Championships
NCTR had two athletes representing their countries at this year's European Sprint Triathlon Championships in Dusseldorf.

Seanin McPherson, racing for Ireland in the FV45 category, did superbly well to finish in 12th place after completing the 750m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run in 1:21.43.

Pauline Teague, representing GB, in the FV55 category, also did really well to finish in 19th place in a time of 1:33.16.

Kingham 10k

CLOSER to home at the Kingham 10K, Chris Krzywiec finished in a brilliant podium third position with a time of 36.14 – the second-placed runner recorded exactly the same time.

Chris' other half Kate Krzywiec finished ninth overall but went one better than Chris by finishing second lady in a time of 42.41. Andrew Evans had a fine run in 44.38 to finish second in his MV50 age category.

Boddington Marathon

STEVE EDWARDS continued his recent form by also finishing in a podium third place at the Boddington Marathon. This was Steve's 786th marathon and his finish time was 3:12.48.

South Devon Trail Duathlon

THE South Devon Trail Duathlon should have included a 1km sea swim and a 15km hilly trail run but due to rough seas Marianne and Daniel Badger had to settle for the run only.

However they didn't disappoint with Marianne finishing on the podium as third lady while Daniel finished in ninth place overall.
