These amazing photos of a Norwegian 737 arriving at Cotswold Airport on Wednesday were taken by Mark Turfrey.
A number of this type of aircraft have arrived at the airport for storage in recent months.
As with many Norwegian 737s, the plane features a 'tail fin hero' - in this case the linguist Ivar Aasen, best known for assembling one of the official written versions of the Norwegian language.
Cotswold Airport sees around 30,000 aircraft movements a year. Around one per cent of these involve airliners for either storage, maintenance or recycling.
