POLICE investigating a robbery in Cirencester have released an efit of the offender and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The robbery happened on Gosditch Street between 10.20pm and 10.40pm on Tuesday August 10 when a 21-year-old man from Kemble was approached by a group of men, one of which asked him for a lighter.
He was then assaulted and fell unconscious. When he came round he discovered his wallet, containing around £120 in cash was stolen.
Officers are asking anyone who recognises the person from the efit, or who has any information about the robbery to contact them on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 29 of August 11. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
