A MASSIVE 119 people were arrested in less than one month, as part of a major clampdown on drugs in the Cotswolds and Stroud areas.
The majority of cases relate to arrests at Michaelwood Services on the M5 motorway, in the run-up to the Glastonbury Festival.
But officers are hailing the whole operation in the division during June, as a huge success.
Acting superintendent Mark Organ said: "We are very pleased, not only with the success of the Michaelwood operation but also these other arrests which are due to the vigilance of our officers.
"We hope that our commitment to arresting suspects will send a clear message to drug dealers and users that we will not tolerate this type of behaviour in our area."
Some 13 people were arrested on suspicion of intent to supply drugs and a further 74 were cautioned for possession at Michaelwood.
But officers on patrol in the division arrested a further 32 people during the course of their duties.
The arrests took place in areas including Cirencester, South Cerney, Tetbury, Fairford and Eastington.
Drugs seized included cannabis and suspected Ecstasy and heroin.
