WHAT made Adolf Hitler so compulsive? How could any cultured person follow him to destruction, desolation and genocide to leave such a deep scar on the 20th century?

Created from the words of Mein Kampf and Table Talk, Pip Utton's play is about racism and intolerance and it comes to the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon on Tuesday, June 21 at 7.30pm.

His impersonation of Adolph captures the audience's thoughts and makes his preachings seem plausible and then agreeable.

Before they know it they have agreed with him on a subject which an hour earlier would have seemed totally unacceptable.

But Utton doesn't stop in the bunker. He plumbs the very course of racism and exposes just how near the surface of our own lives lurks its insidious influence.

This powerful piece is not just for those who remember those dreadful days of the Second World War but also for students to experience another side to a very controversial part of our history.
