FRESH Air 2005 is the seventh Quenington Sculpture Show which takes place in the riverside gardens of Quenington Old Rectory, near Cirencester, home of David and Lucy Abel Smith, from June 25 to July 16.
This is a show which has grown and grown and now has more than 100 exhibits in a variety of materials from sculptors from the far corners of the British Isles but also from the local area, including stained glass craftsman Sarianne Durie who actually lives in Quenington and Ana Bianchi from neighbouring Coln St Aldwyns.
Also included is a sculpture by the late, great Lynn Chadwick, who spent much of his creative life in Lypiatt, near Stroud.
Whether you are a sculpture buff or if you simply enjoy wandering round a beautiful garden, looking at interesting and lovely objects on a summer day, Fresh Air 2005 is the place to visit.
