A MEMBER of the royal family is due to visit South Cerney next month.
Princess Anne will visit military unit 29 Regiment RLC which are based at the Duke of Gloucester Barracks off Cirencester Road on Friday, December 13.
According to the royal diary, the visit is part of Princess Anne’s role as Colonel-in-Chief of The Royal Logistic Corps.
The 29 Regiment RLC is the Army’s only specialist movement control and postal & courier regiment.
Meanwhile, Princess Anne will also officially open a new development at the Sunground in Avening on January 16, 2025.
The visit is part of Princess Anne’s role as Patron of the English Rural Housing Association, the royal diary says.
Famously, Princess Anne has lived at nearby Gatcombe Park since 1976.
