A FESTIVE attraction near Cirencester held a unique event involving a helicopter on Saturday.
Santa and his elves used the modern flying machine to arrive at the Cotswold Reindeer Herd in Ampney Crucis on Saturday, November 16.
Saint Nick checked the reindeer in preparation for their big night on Christmas Eve.
Ahead of Father Christmas’ arrival, the Cotswold Reindeer Herd ran a prize draw giving up to four lucky winners the opportunity to take a flight in the helicopter to Kemble.
The attraction is home to a herd of reindeer, with the site opening its gates during the festive season and allowing the public to meet the animals.
You can visit Santa and the reindeer at the Cotswold Reindeer Herd in November and December.
