GLOUCESTERSHIRE police is appealing for information after a group of men broke into a home in Stow-on-the-Wold on Friday, November 15.
The resident drove home, and when they parked on their driveway on King Georges Field, they saw four or five men in face coverings run out from the rear of the property.
As they ran past the victim's vehicle, some of them hit it with their fists, shouted at the victim and then fled on foot.
It is not known if they then got into a vehicle.
The incident happened at around 6pm, and the group was described as wearing dark-coloured clothing.
The victim was not physically injured, but they are extremely shaken by the ordeal.
Officers attended, and it was found that the offenders had forced entry to a rear door and searched the bedrooms.
It was unknown on Saturday whether anything had been stolen.
House-to-house enquiries have taken place, and forensic investigators were due to go to the property for further investigative work to take place.
Anyone who lives in the area and witnessed the incident, saw anyone running away from the scene or who has CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to make contact with police.
