A KEY ROAD in Tetbury has been closed following a blaze at an industrial estate.
Firefighters have been dealing with the incident at Tetbury Industrial Estate since around 12.40pm this afternoon, Friday, November 15.
According to the AA traffic alert system, Cirencester Road has been shut both ways from Trubshaw Close to Herd Lane.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service has told the Standard they remain at the scene and are currently fighting the fire from outside the building.
“We were called at 12.41pm to a fire at a commercial property in Tetbury Industrial Estate, on Cirencester Road,” the spokesperson said.
“Nine fire engines have been sent to the scene along with an aerial ladder platform. Two jets and four breathing apparatus are being used to fight the fire.
“We remain at the scene and are fighting the fire from outside the building.”
Crews at the scene include teams from Nailsworth, Stroud, Cirencester, Wotton-under-Edge, Cheltenham West, Gloucester South and Fairford.
An additional two fire engines from Dorset and Wiltshire are also at the incident.
