A UNIQUE event in Cirencester is offering ‘Christmas good cheer’ with a historical flavour.
Cotswold District Council is inviting the public to join the organisation at the Corinium Museum in Cirencester’s Park Street for a ‘Tudor extravaganza’ on Friday, December 6.
Taking place from 6pm to 8pm, the event promises ‘Tudor festivities and Christmas good cheer’.
A range of activities for different ages and interests are on offer, including a Tudor dance lesson.
Don your best ruff and tumble to join instructor Julie Bignell, who is teaching Tudor dance, before sitting down with some mulled wine.
Alternatively, fling caution to yonder winds with instructor Jo Richardson, who will help you craft a unique Tudor kissing ball-style wreath to take home.
All materials are provided, and refreshments are also available.
While adults are dancing or crafting, they can book their kids into a Young Tudors Christmas evening.
A full night of stories, snacks, games and crafts is promised, with children also leaving with their own handcrafted holiday decoration.
The event is suitable for those aged five to 13.
All materials are provided once more.
Tudor dance tickets cost £15, including refreshments.
Meanwhile, Tudor kissing bough craft workshop tickets cost £40.
Children’s Tudor Christmas evening tickets cost £15.
