A 74-YEAR-OLD Audi driver from Ampney Crucis has been banned from the road and must pay nearly £300 after being caught speeding.
John Andon, of Hilcot End, Ampney Crucis, was caught over the 30mph speed limit on the A417 in Poulton on May 23.
Andon admitted the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Monday, October 7.
He was disqualified from driving for six months, given three penalty points and must pay a £123 fine with £110 costs and a £49 surcharge - a total of £282.
