A GASTROPUB in the area has unveiled a new menu along with special nights for visitors to enjoy.
The additions at Dr Foster - located in Kimberley Warehouse in The Docks in Gloucester - come following its reopening earlier this summer, with a design overhaul by restaurant group ART HOSPITALITY (formerly A Rule of Tum).
The new menu includes steak pie and bangers and mash, as well as a Sunday roast selection.
This includes rare roast top rump, rare-breed pork belly, slow-roasted lamb, BERTHA-roasted courgette wellington and a little roast for the kids, all of which are served with sides.
Executive chef Callum McDonald worked with a range of Michelin chefs across the country before joining the ART HOSPITALITY team at The Bookshop restaurant in Hereford.
Butcher’s Dock Steak Nights have also recently launched every Thursday evening from 6pm.
Diners can enjoy an 8oz steak, pub chips and a choice of sauce for £15.
Trusted butcher Heggies will select a prime cut each week depending on what is available.
Tap Takeovers are also now running every Wednesday, with a spotlight on a different local brewery each week.
Visitors will receive a talk from the brewery followed by a handpicked selection of beers and ales, priced at £3 per pint.
A Pie and Pint deal for £15 will additionally be available on Wednesdays.
Breweries taking part in the Tap Takeovers include Stroud Brewery, Gloucester Brewery and Wye Valley Brewery.
Other events include a monthly Big Pub Quiz, which takes place at 7pm on Tuesday, November 19 and Tuesday, December 17.
Entry is £2 per person, and teams can be made up of two to eight people.
Various prizes are up for grabs, including Dr Foster vouchers.
Meanwhile, live music can be enjoyed every other Friday from 9pm to 10.30pm in the ground-floor bar (with a range of popular local bands and singers).
