FURTHER new homes have been launched in a village near Cirencester.

Homebuilder Cotswold Homes has launched The Croft, a private development of nine detached and link-detached bungalows in Down Ampney.

The development is set along a private driveway leading to a courtyard enclave, with the bungalows designed to blend Cotswold architecture with modern, high-end specifications.

Natural stone facades mingle with dark slate or red-coloured roof tiles, while inside, the homes are crafted to maximise space, light and flow.

Highlights include spacious family areas, French doors and grand principal suites.

The bungalows also feature air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, electric vehicle charging points and photovoltaic panels.

Sarah Williams, sales and marketing director at Cotswold Homes, said: “We build beautiful homes in beautiful places, and we’re incredibly proud of The Croft and what it represents - the best of both worlds, marrying the character and charm of a historic Cotswold village with the benefits of contemporary, energy-efficient living.

“The Marston, a stunning double-fronted link-detached bungalow, has been designed to complement the village’s rich architectural history while offering a level of modern comfort and sustainability that today’s buyers expect.”
