A RESTAURANT near Malmesbury is celebrating National Curry Week by donating a share of profits to a charity in the town.
Sasa’s Indian Kitchen and Bar is giving 20 per cent of profits to HEALS of Malmesbury. The restaurant, located in Pettifers Freehouse Hotel in Crudwell, is making the gesture this week until Sunday, October 13 on in-house dining and takeaway.
HEALS supports people and families in Malmesbury and surrounding villages who may be in vulnerable, disadvantaged or in poverty.
Foyez Rahman of Sasa’s was aware of the charity’s work and wanted to do something positive during National Curry Week.
“HEALS is able to make positive change to those facing hardship,” he said.
“I know Pettifers has been a supporter, and we wanted to continue its good work.”
HEALS chair of trustees Gavin Grant commented: “Everyone at HEALS is very grateful for this kind support, which will make a difference to those who need help in our local community.”
