A NEW song celebrating the unique beauty of the Cotswolds is being released next month.

Christmas In The Cotswolds, by Next To No Time, will be released worldwide on November 14.

Locations mentioned in the track include Cirencester, Tetbury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Cheltenham, while more destinations are featured in the music video.

A spokesperson for Next to No Time, which consists of Steve Banyard (producer/keyboards) and David J King (keyboards/vocal arrangements) plus various guest singers, said that the song fuses synth-based rhythms with guitars, mandolin and strings for a new, upbeat Christmas sound.

“This year, there will be a new track to celebrate the season and the region, capturing celebrations with family and friends among the snow-capped hills and log fires,” the spokesperson said.

“It’s joyous, it’s infectious and it generates the sense of a giant, fun Christmas party.”

The song and video are being distributed globally by Horus Music on all major platforms.

The track will be available on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Amazon Music, as well as other major stores.

Pre-save links are available from Tuesday, October 15.
