A FALLEN tree has caused the closure of a key Tetbury road.
Gloucestershire County Council’s Highways department said this morning (Monday, September 30) that the B4014 between Tetbury and Tetbury Upton has been shut due to the large tree.
The AA said that the road is closed both ways between Chancery Place and Upton Lane and that traffic is coping well.
“The B4014 between Tetbury Upton and Tetbury is closed due to a large fallen tree,” a spokesperson for the county council department said.
“While we make arrangements for its removal, please take alternative travel arrangements this morning and avoid the area.
“Apologies for any inconvenience.”
