FLOOD alerts have been placed on rivers across the Cirencester and Malmesbury area.
The Environment Agency has issued six warnings.
One alert is a red warning which has been issued for the Tetbury Avon at Malmesbury.
According to the alert, areas most at risk include properties around Goose Bridge and St John's Street.
The alert area also covers Park Road, Poole Road, Gloucester Road, Mill Lane and Baskerville.
“Start acting on your flood plan if you have one,” the alert says.
“Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
“Weather conditions are expected to improve tomorrow afternoon and no further flooding is expected.
“We are closely monitoring the situation and closing locks and flood gates.”
Meanwhile, the warning also includes the River Churn in the Cirencester area, the River Thames and its small tributaries from Calcutt to Lechlade as well as the Upper Bristol Avon area.
However, it is understood property flooding is not expected on the River Churn or the River Thames.
