REVELLERS rolled with it when a Britpop tribute band blasted out iconic 90s anthems at ReVA in Cirencester.
Oasis act Definitely Mightbe ensured that Saturday’s back to the 90s party made everyone feel like a rock ‘n’ roll star.
Clubbers dug out their flannel shirts, bucket hats and Parkas and did their best to recreate the classic Gallagher mod cut hair as they relived their glory days in the popular nightspot which was transformed into an 90s time capsule.
Following the success of Martin Kemp and the more recent ABBA Party, which deviated from the usual nightclub hours by taking place from 7pm to 11pm, ReVA has decided to host similar events throughout the rest of the year.
These events will feature tribute acts recreating the look and sound of iconic bands like Spandau Ballet.
“The response to Saturday’s party was truly supersonic,” joked ReVA director Dan Lafford.
“Definitely Mightbe are the longest standing Oasis tribute, who have probably played more times live than OASIS themselves!
“The big one though will be our 80s party with a Spandau Ballet tribute on November 2. Tickets already close to being sold out!
“There’s definitely a market for those who want to dance to the tunes of the 60s to the 90s, partying till 11pm and still making it home in time for Match of the Day.”
