A NEW store offering Cotswold-designed jewellery has opened in Cirencester.
Boutique Bijou in the Corn Hall sells gold and silver pieces, with a pop of colour provided by gemstones from around the world.
On top of the core range in the boutique, founder Maryam Ghavidel also provides bespoke jewellery-making services, as well as jewellery repairs and remodelling.
Maryam, who boasts more than 10 years of experience in the jewellery sector, said that opening the store has been ‘a deeply personal dream’.
“My passion lies in creating meaningful pieces that truly touch people’s lives,” she said.
“Jewellery is more than just adornment - it represents moments, memories and connections.
“We focus on timeless designs while bringing ideas to life.”
Maryam described Boutique Bijou’s jewellery as ‘delicate, colourful and sophisticated’, adding that it is ‘inspired by the beauty of the Cotswolds’.
“While much of our collection is crafted by skilled artisans, we also have a small workshop at the back of the shop where I do some repairs and create select pieces myself,” she explained.
“What makes us unique is our ability to transform any idea into a beautiful, bespoke piece.
“We love working closely with our clients to create something special.
“The joy we see when their vision becomes reality is exactly why we do what we do.”
The store is open on Monday and from Wednesday to Sunday.
