A WALKING route in the area has been ranked as one of the 10 best pub walks in England.
The Coln St Aldwyns and Bibury Circular has been named the ninth-best pub walk in the nation by experts at outdoor retailer Millets.
The company ranked its top walks by ratings and number of reviews, looking at walks that were accessible, family friendly and had a pub on the route.
Reportedly lasting 2 hours 49 minutes on average, the 10.6km Bibury and Coln St Aldwyns walk was given a rating of 4.7 out of 5.
Millets said the route has 586 reviews, while its family-friendly walk score out of 10 was 8.95.
The company sourced its English pub walks using trail guide and map brand AllTrails.
Natalie Byrne, author and outdoor enthusiast at Millets, said: “A walk is the perfect excuse to get all the family together and moving.
“To allow the whole family to get involved, it is a great idea to choose a route that is accessible to both wheelchairs and prams.
“It is also recommended that you check the difficulty of your walking route as well as the estimated time that it will take for the whole family to walk it.
“Of course, if you have any younger children or any slower walkers, allow for extra time to stop on your walk.”
