It’s one of those 5 Saturday months that confuses all the regulars who have got a clever plan of which of the non-weekly stalls are in attendance when. We have 40 stalls, roughly, that come every week (apart from when they’re on holiday of course!) which means between 10 and sometimes 20 other spaces at the market are filled by a rotating group of traders who come monthly, fortnightly, or in some cases, 3 times per month. When the months are a nice 4 Saturdays, you can be aware that so and so is there on such and such a Saturday, and you get into the rhythm of it. Then, along comes a 5th Saturday to confuse everyone!
So, apart from our weekly stalls, you can expect to find Cotswold Orchard Herbs’ Fire Cider, Pascale Stanley Jewellery, The Boutique Distillery with Gin and Haka Rum, Jenny Knight Pottery and Little Earthquake Pots and Jo Duck Ceramics, and Uley Brewery, and whilst Raclette and Funky Falafel are on holiday we have Lhamos Momo again in the square and a first time at the farmers’ market for Salsa Stories in the falafel pitch. Do go and give them a try, the Salsa was very popular at the Vegan market.
Elsewhere we have White Lake Cheeses and Village Made Cheeses both at the market as last week, who between them carry an amazing range and variety of cheeses, both hard and soft, with milk from cow, goat and sheep all represented.
