FAMILIES danced the night away to live music on bank holiday Monday as part of Malmesbury Carnival.
Crowds gathered at the Cloister Gardens behind Malmesbury Abbey for an evening of sunshine and sounds on Monday, August 26.
Every year, a selection of local bands perform at the outdoor venue for the annual Music in the Cloisters event - which is part of the town’s carnival programme.
This year’s line-up included The Soul Destroyers, folk trio The Blackbirds and Wilf.
The highly-anticipated Carnival Procession is due to take place this Saturday, August 31 between 6pm and 8pm.
