A COLOURFUL pop-up street market returned to Malmesbury over the weekend.
The Petticoat Lane market took place in the High Street on Sunday, August 19 as part of the town’s carnival celebrations.
The event included a variety of different stalls run by local businesses plus live music and an outdoor walkabout performance by actors from the Last Baguette theatre company.
Also in attendance included Malmesbury deputy mayor Stephen James and South Cotswolds MP Roz Savage.
Malmesbury Carnival is a longstanding tradition in the town which has been going for over a hundred years - bringing residents, businesses, and visitors together for events during August and September.
The carnival procession will take place on August 31.
