A SUMMER festival recently took place at a retirement village and care home in the Cirencester area.
Families and residents gathered for a day of live music, a barbeque and raffle at Stratton Court retirement village on Sunday, August 11.
The event - known as AuraFest - also included a bouncy castle plus music from Cheltenham Ukulele Group, Cirencester’s Lost Luggage and solo act – D’artagnan.
The raffle raised more than £300 for palliative and bereavement support charity Sue Ryder.
Sales director Peter Lloyd from Aura Care Living said: “It was a pleasure to host so many people from the area, the weather was amazing and to raise money for a charity, that means so much to the staff and residents was equally brilliant.”
