Cirencester’s Stratton Court is to host its first summer festival.
Dubbed AuraFest, the free music and BBQ event will take place on Sunday 11 August from 12pm and all are welcome.
Any money raised on the day will go to the Sue Ryder charity, a cause very close to Aura Care Living, the owners of Stratton Court retirement village and care home.
AuraFest will be officially opened my Cirencester Mayor Sarah Orr at 12pm and will consist of live music from the band, Lost Luggage, a BBQ, popcorn station, bouncy castle, a tombola and raffle with prizes donated from a host of local businesses and restaurants.
Stratton Court has recently picked up a host of awards including Best Luxury Care Home 2024 in the South West by Global Health and Pharma Magazine, Team of the Year from the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce and have just found out they have been shortlisted for the industry prestigious, Health Investor Senior Housing Award.
Aura Care Living’s sales director Peter Lloyd said: “This is our way of giving back to our residents, their families, the staff, the community and Cirencester, itself for all the support it has given us since we set up Stratton Court in 2017.
“Stratton Court, as a home and retirement village has come on leaps and bounds over the years and we want to share it with everyone, and we hope you can join us for a terrific first ever – AuraFest.”
