A NEW pizzeria has opened in Cirencester.
Cattivo, a new venture from the team behind Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden in collaboration with chef Mike Robinson, opened at The Old Kennels in Cirencester Park on Friday, August 2.
A launch event for the restaurant was held on Thursday, August 1.
The event was well attended, with family, friends (including the Earl and Countess Bathurst) and local businesses turning out.
Attendees sampled slices of hot pizza served out of a Gozney oven on boards.
Live music was provided by local band Pip and the Bad Seed.
Cattivo celebrates home-grown, foraged and locally-sourced produce, as well as Italian ingredients.
Head pizzaiolo Francessco Fotia is also set to add 18 years of experience and flair to the team.
No bookings, delivery or telephone orders are offered by the restaurant, but eat-in and takeaway options are available.
