EMERGENCY services were called after 5pm on Sunday after a crash involving a motorbike and a Volkswagen Tiguan.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s from Swindon, sadly died at the scene.
His next of kin has been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
Any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which could assist the police investigation, should call the Serious Collision Investigation team on 01225 694597 and quote log number 279 of July 28.
