POLICE have issued an alert after a Land Rover in the Cirencester area was recently targeted by thieves.
Officers say multiple items were stolen from a Land Rover Discovery 4 parked in Tinglesfield, Stratton.
Stolen items include a firearms licence, a Milwaukee compact screwdriver, a multi-tool worth £300 and a power bank.
Police have not revealed when the incident took place, but said it happened “overnight”.
A police spokesperson added: “If you are leaving your vehicle for any length of time – please ensure that the doors are locked, do not always rely on your central locking key fob, and always check the door handle.
“”Where possible do not leave anything on show, items should be locked away in the boot or removed completely.”
