STAFF at a Cirencester care home are celebrating after receiving a new prestigious accolade.

Stratton Court has been named the best luxury care home in the South West by Global Health and Pharma Magazine for 2024.

The awards - which are now in its eighth year - were designed to highlight the contributions made by organisations and individuals in social care.

Linda Lloyd, CEO of Aura Care Living’s Stratton Court said: “As a group we run two care homes, and are incredibly proud of what we, and all of the team have created.

“Since establishing Aura in 2017, with the opening of Kings Lodge in Camberley (Surrey), we have strived to provide the best in care and health management.

“Awards are a great pat on the back, but it is the feedback and the wellbeing of our residents that is at the forefront of what we do.

“Stratton Court, as a home and retirement village has come on leaps and bounds under the stewardship of Sinead Blick the care home manager.”

The home was also recently given positive feedback by an assessment by Inclusion Gloucestershire.

The charity provides a peer-led quality checking service in health and social care services for people with disabilities and or mental ill-health.
