A LUXURY holiday destination has announced the launch of its final village.
Lower Mill Estate’s Copse Mere village will feature 11 holiday homes which will neighbour Somerford Lagoon in the Cotswold Water Park, as well as being close to an outdoor heated pool and tennis courts.
The village is set within a private, enclosed copse with views of the adjacent river, which is frequented by Lower Mill Estate’s birdlife including herons and kingfishers.
Holiday homeowners and guests at Copse Mere will also enjoy access to a nature reserve, multiple lakes, an indoor heated pool and spa and onsite restaurant Ballihoo.
Riverside holiday home freehold plots are being offered for sale at the village.
Prices will start from £540,000 total investment for a two-bedroom Retreat design with through views down to the river.
This will include the freehold plot from the parent company for Lower Mill Estate, Habitat First Group, plus a build from recommended construction partner Conservation Builders Limited.
The Retreat is a recently-introduced two-bedroom style that combines contemporary architectural features with views of the outdoors.
The design features natural materials throughout, as well as photovoltaic panels.
Another design available in the first phase of Copse Mere is The View, which is brand new for this year and is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom style created to maximise light, integrating with the existing trees and landscape.
Set in the Cotswold Water Park, Lower Mill Estate in Somerford Keynes is a purpose-built country estate and holiday home development.
Holiday homes at Copse Mere have been architecturally designed to make the most of their riverside location, are intended to slot into their natural surroundings and will be constructed with sustainability in mind.
All property designs will incorporate electric vehicle charging and air source heat pumps, along with the opportunity to add other eco-friendly features like swift boxes and bee bricks.
“After much demand for a new holiday home village, we are delighted to launch Copse Mere at Lower Mill,” said Red Paxton, chief executive of Habitat First Group.
“These riverside holiday homes will immerse their homeowners in the natural environment.
“With opportunities for natural water sports on the neighbouring lake and a heated outdoor pool and tennis courts right next to the village, we are expecting Copse Mere to be extremely popular.”
Properties at Lower Mill Estate cannot be used as a primary residence.
