POLICE have issued an alert after a property in Cirencester was targeted by burglars.

Two male offenders recently ransacked a home in Pheasant Way at approximately 10.30pm on Friday, June 14.

Officers say they entered the property by smashing a rear patio door to gain access to a key left in the lock.

However, according to the community alert, it is believed the duo were disturbed by neighbours and ran away into an awaiting getaway vehicle.

The offenders reportedly left a watch and items of jewellery on a bed.

Police say it is “unclear” if anything was actually stolen.
