A POPULAR late-night venue in Cirencester is hosting an exciting event next month which will transport attendees back to the 70s.
An uncanny ABBA tribute band is due to give a memorable performance at ReVA Nightclub on Saturday, June 8.
This extravaganza coincides with the 50th anniversary of ABBA's Eurovision victory, adding an extra layer of excitement.
General manager Jason Baker said: "Ticket sales have surged this week, especially with the Eurovision buzz in Sweden.
"We're already close to a sell-out, with nearly 75 per cent gone.
"And speaking of going all out, this isn't your average tribute band – oh no!
"This five-piece ensemble is hailed as one of the best in Europe, promising a performance that'll have you shouting 'Mamma Mia' all night long."
Following the successful Martin Kemp 80s party in September, the buzzing venue is set to host five unforgettable events throughout this year which aim to appeal to an audience hungry for nostalgia.
From Oasis to Spandau Ballet, Harry Styles to the Grinch and his Christmas Band, there will be something for everyone.
Director Dan Lafford said: "The response has been ABBA-solutely amazing.
"There's definitely a market for those who want to dance to the tunes of the 60s to the 90s, partying till 11pm and still making it home in time for Match of the Day."
