A WOMAN has been charged with manslaughter in connection with an incident in Stroud last year.
Kimberley Ann Hawkins, 41 and of no fixed address, has been charged with the manslaughter of 63-year-old Neil Shadwick.
The charge relates to an incident in the car park of Tesco superstore on Stratford Road on January 22 2023.
Mr Shadwick was found unresponsive in the car park and without his mobility scooter, which he used as his mode of transport.
He died in hospital the same day.
Hawkins is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, May 15.
At a vigil in January last year, neighbours and friends paid tribute to Neil’s "great love of music" who was a "loved character in Paganhill."
Flowers, cards and photos were laid on a bench outside Tesco near Costa.
