THREE males were arrested this morning during a dramatic incident which involved an attempted burglary, a cannabis farm and machetes.
Police were called shortly before 3.20am this morning, Thursday, April 18 after two young males were spotted trying to break into a car in Stanway Road, Cheltenham.
Officers arrived at the scene within minutes of the call and arrested two youths who were fleeing the area.
Several discarded machetes were found nearby, as well as indications that attempts had been made to break into a house on the road.
Another man was then spotted on the roof of the property so officers immediately cordoned off the area and arrested him.
Inside the house, around 100 tall cannabis plants, estimated to be worth tens of thousands of pounds in total, were discovered and were seized by police .
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference, attempted burglary and possession of class B drugs and 17-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference and attempted burglary.
In addition, a 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drugs manufacture and remains in police custody at this time.
Police have confirmed that all three males are from London.
