TWO Coronation Street actors have embraced new roles in a heart-warming production in Cirencester.
Faye Brookes and Tom Lorcan, known for playing Kate Connor and Mike Hargrave on Corrie, are currently wowing audiences at the Barn Theatre in a revival production of Nick Payne’s multi-award-winning play Constellations.
They are currently mastering the roles of beekeeper Roland and physicist Marianne.
The award-winning play follows the pair's relationship and friendship.
It allows the audience to share the comedy and the heartbreak, drawing them into the unflinching reality that the characters eventually face.
Nick Payne’s play explores human connections with a plot that keeps the audience guessing until the very end.
Jessica Daniels, who previously directed the theatre’s acclaimed Built by Barn productions of The Butterfly Lion and The Mozart Question, has returned to Cirencester to direct Constellations.
The director said: “I’m thrilled to be returning to the Barn to direct Nick Payne’s Constellations.
"It’s play I’ve always loved, at a theatre that has produced some of my proudest work.”
