Spencer House Gallery owner, Chris Woodcock, invited Tetbury Art Society to stage its first open show in her Tetbury town centre gallery and the Equinox event attracted almost 70 artwork entries from artists across the area.
Sue, a member of Tetbury Art Society, won one of five category prizes presented by Spencer House Gallery to the artist exhibitors. Her nesting textile and collage picture won Best 3D Artwork.
She is pictured at the private view opening with her three children, Sue Hooper and Charlie Hitchcock.
Other category winners were:

- Best Figurative - Tania Fullerton
- Best Abstract - Jackie Sapp
- Best 3D - Sue Hooper
- Best Idea - Chris Bullman.
The gallery owner was thanked at the end of the show for presenting such a lovely and creative show which perfectly showcased the variety of mediums.
Tetbury Art Society chair Jenny Riley said: “It’s been such a pleasure to have a great turn-out of support for our first open show and our first formal gallery exhibition, Equinox, coinciding with the start of spring.
"This has been the perfect way to launch our membership recruitment drive and encourage a wider involvement in our varied programme in the coming year.”

Hot on the heels of Equinox, Spencer House Gallery will be showcases a special Easter exhibition, Precious Little, opened on Good Friday.
The event focuses on the creation of small art treasures in many media and regional artists celebrating the precious things in life and will run Thursday to Saturday, 10.30am to 1pm and 2pm to 4.30pm.
