A POPULAR live music venue at Cotswold Water Park reopens on Good Friday for its summer season.
Holidaymakers and old friends will be welcomed back to the Cotswold Lakes Brew Co taproom at Field Farm in Somerford Keynes this weekend.
The grand reopening will feature live music and delicious street food options on Friday (from 5pm) and Saturday night, alongside the full range of Cotswold Lakes Brew Co's award-winning craft beers.
The independent craft beer business was set up by a group of work colleagues who loved drinking beer and decided it would be fun to start making it during lockdown in 2020.
They have spent the last few weeks preparing the taproom for the reopening and hope to see another busy summer season.
Following the success of winning Great Taste Awards for their Pale Ale and Cotswold Porter in 2022, last year saw more plaudits for the fledgling brewery.
Both the Best Bitter and Cotswold Blonde, a Belgian-style ale, picked up one-star wins at the Great Taste Awards.
Nick Hunt, chief beer officer at the brewery, said: “Receiving these awards is fantastic and recognition of the quality of beer we’re producing but seeing our regulars at the taproom every week– plus the holidaymakers and other visitors – is really just great.
“This year the taproom will also be open on Thursday nights.
“Friday and Saturday will be our main taproom nights with live music and food options but on Thursdays we’ll be hosting other events, such as brewery tours and tastings, open mic nights, and quizzes.
