POLICE have launched an appeal after a window of a village hall near Cirencester was smashed by yobs.
Siddington Village Hall was recently targeted by a group of vandals between 1pm and 4pm on Wednesday, March 20
According to police, on the same day as the vandalism, a group of youths were seen launching stones from catapults in the village.
A community alert issued by Gloucestershire Police reads: "Police are appealing for help to identify culprits who may have smashed a window at Siddington Village Hall.
“We are hoping to receive information that will help us to identify some youths who were in the village on Wednesday afternoon and seen to be firing stones from catapults.
“If you think you know who this might be, even if you did not witness the damage, then we would like to hear from you.”
