AN AWARD-WINNING chef is celebrating four years at the helm of one of Cirencester's most luxurious venues.

Ethan Rodgers, executive chef at Cirencester Park Polo Brasserie, is excited to create many more delicious meals for members and guests after a successful four years.

Mr Rodgers won his first AA rosette and Bib Gourmand at just 25-years-old and has worked at an array of prestigious venues in the area over the last few years such as The Wheatsheaf in Northleach.

Since joining the polo club, he has served an array of special guests some incredible mouth-watering meals.

His busy kitchen team also looks after the Beaufort Bistro at Beaufort Polo Club, near Tetbury, and will soon be running the kitchen at Longdole Polo Club near Brimpsfield too.

Mr Rodgers said: “I can’t wait to get back up there and fire up the oven.

"The club has been great to us and the weekends up here are fabulous.

"Once the season is up and running in April, we will be open Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and the bar will be open later at the weekends.

"We have put together a menu that utilises local suppliers, including New Wave Seafood for Maldon oysters, farmer John Hind for the rib of beef and Toby and Churri from Duntisbourne for his roasted Old Spot pork and the Bathurst Estate itself for its wild garlic."
