POLICE have urged residents to report any sightings of a horse trailer which was stolen from a village near Cirencester last week.
A black and silver cheval liberty (model-Touring XL) horse trailer was stolen from Pike Road in Winstone sometime between 7pm on Tuesday, March 5 and 8.15am on Wednesday, March 6.
When the owner first realised the trailer was missing, they found that the gate chain and padlock had been damaged.
The offenders also broke into the tack room and stole a gas bottle and horse rugs.
A sledgehammer was left behind by the thieves.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to complete a form on Gloucestershire police's website quoting incident number 72 of March 6.
