A MAGICAL evening of music, dance and theatre will take place in Cirencester this April.
Mediaeval Babes will be returning to St. John Baptist Church in Cirencester on Friday, April 5.
This female-led folk choir will be bursting with an extraordinary mix of melodies, lyrics and tempos.
They are excited to dazzle the audience with an array of exotic and period instruments as they celebrate and rejoice the Springtime renewal.
Mediaeval Babes have received two Emmy nominations in the past and have toured with Jules Holland and supported Michael Flatley in Hyde Park.
They won a Royal Television Society award alongside composer Martin Phipps for their soundtrack to ITV’s hit period drama Victoria, and also scooped up an Ivor Novella Award for their performance on the BBC serialization The Virgin Queen.
Over the years, the ensemble have released 11 studio albums.
