REPAIR work to fix a broken water pipe just outside of Cirencester has begun.
Thames Water engineers were called to a report of a burst water pipe in Clark's Lane, Siddington yesterday afternoon, Monday, March 4.
This issue has caused low or no water pressure in many homes in the village over the last day.
Some households in South Cerney have also been affected by this.
The water supplier announced this afternoon (Tuesday, March 5) that tankers have been put in place to minimise disruption while engineers carry out repairs over the next few days.
A Thames Water spokesperson said: “On Monday, our engineers responded to a burst water main on Clark's Lane in Siddington.
"All customers should still have water supply, but may experience lower pressure while we carry out the repair, which we expect to take place over the coming days.
"We have tankers in place to minimise customer impact.”
