A VOLKSWAGEN driver has been fined hundreds of pounds for speeding on the motorway.
Alexander Ruff, aged 53, must pay £935 after he was prosecuted for speeding.
Ruff was caught exceeding the 70mph speed limit on the M5 motorway Bridge 103-50 in a Volkswagen on Tuesday, October 3.
The case was heard at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, February 28.
Ruff, of Sherbourne Lane, Great Rissington, entered a guilty plea via the Single Justice Procedure.
The court ordered Ruff to pay a £589 fine, a £236 victim surcharge plus £110 in costs - a total of £935.
Six points have also been added to his licence.
