Two criminals went on a shoplifting spree of clothes and products worth over £1,300 in the Swindon Designer Outlet.
Dylan Dinan and Lisa Connors, both of Aster Close in Twigworth in Gloucester, admitted to four charges each of theft from a shop.
Dinan, 30, and Connors, 43, indicated pleas of guilty to stealing products worth £747 from Ralph Lauren, clothes worth £93.45 from Superdry, goods worth £340 from Clarins, and items worth £145 from Russell Bromley in Swindon on February 26, 2024.
These stores are among the fashion brands based in the McArthur Glen retail village.
Dinan received an 18-week prison sentence which has been suspended for 12 months, and a community order that requires him to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and up to 15 rehabilitation activity days.
He must also pay £85 in court costs. Court documents note that “the defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property”.
Connors has been jailed for 24 weeks because, court documents note, “the number and nature of the offences shows that the defendant is operating as a professional criminal”, and she must pay £154 to fund victim services.
